Style Verdict: Bandage Dresses

These bandage dresses should come with a warning label. ATTENTION: Do not attempt if you are not all the way "right". Don't get me wrong, because please believe, if I was all the way right in my tummy, thigh and hip areas, I'd rock every single one of these dresses! This pic could serve as a wonderful motivator though, no? I think it could. Because looking at these chicks make me wanna go and do like an hour on the treadmill right now. But I want to know what you think about this bandage dress trend. Do you like it? Hate it? Don't care? Are you "all the way right" enough to rock it? I wanna know your style verdict.

Yep, I had already said to myself that I was returning to the gym. These photos remind me of the possibilities - even at fabulous 50!

It's hot! I can't wear one until I work it right.

I vote for Rihanna as the farest among them all. Look at her!

I'm really 'iffy' about this style. To me it looks like you'd have to have REALLY small curves to pull the look off. For example, Christina Aguilera looks like she stuck to bowling balls down her top in this dress. And, without a good enough fit it can actually make you look bigger. Like the girl (whose name I forgot) on the far right. But girls like Rihanna where there's just enough cut from the top, allowing her bandage dresss not to make her boobs turn into bowling balls, it works. Also, in an issue of Teen Vogue, they showed bondage dresses with more color. So, I think that they work well also for more casual events.

lesse i kinda have a dress ilke that and im curvy in the hips and butt i like the way it fits on me its a sexy trend

Well, Rihanna isn't exactly a stick - she has some seriously sexy curves, so I think if she can pull it off, there's hope for the rest of us! my only concern is I have a bubble butt, and that could come off looking trashy...nothing I can do about that though, so I'll have to check this style on, and see if i can handle it ;)

what is good about this style is it will actualy hold in your body so you can have a tummy but it will flaten it out withought you actualy having to work out, or u could just where some spanx lol. but they are very pretty dresses

Ladies,

the great thing about a bandage dress made popular by Herve Ledger is that it holds you in and sucks any body fat it. Now i'm not saying someone who is 5 foot 4 and 200 pounds should wear it, however it is a forgiving dress provided you purchase the right style. Someone like Christina Aguilera cannot rock the strapless ( too much boobage) For example : You reguarly see larger stars like Khloe and Kim Karashian looking fantastic in Herve's dresses. The best thing about the bandage dress is the material and the way it is layerd. The material is cut into strips and sewn in layers to create the illusion of a flattened stomach and hips.

I say rock on ladies, keep looking fierce and if you want to check out a cheaper yet still effective version, visit LaLaLandCotoure.com

I have a Kim/Rihanna type body so I definatly know I can rock this look, especially with some nice high heels. I actually think the bandage dress looks best on a woman with curves. Also, Herve Ledger make the best bandage dresses by far!
