Um… Maybe she was going hiking later, and was concerned about Lyme disease? Oh well—at least the shoes are cute, if you wear them properly.
I think lace up shoes are cute, but lacing them up over jeans like that is just tacky.
I work at a fashion magazine and I think that is cute and hip.
